(Tweed, ON) – On December 10, 2014 at 5p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P stopped a vehicle on Victoria Street North in the Municipality of Tweed. Officers discovered that the driver had been consuming alcohol and he subsequently registered a warning on the roadside screening device. In addition he was driving while his drivers licence was under suspension for unpaid fines.
As a result, the 52 year old male driver of Belleville, ON was issued a 3 day drivers licence suspension in relation to his alcohol consumption. As well he was charged with Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
