Soukchinda KHAMVONG – Drunk Driving

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 22, 2014 at approximately 10:40 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle caught up on the guard rail at the Guelph-Woolwich Townline and Highway 7 in Guelph-Eramosa Township. Further information was received that the female driver had fallen out of the driver’s door prior to the vehicle rolling backwards and striking the guardrail.

When police arrived on scene the female was seated in the driver’s seat and exhibited obvious signs of impairment. The keys were in the ignition and the vehicle was in neutral. She was placed under arrest and transported to an OPP Operation Centre for further testing.

Soukchinda KHAMVONG age 25 of Kitchener has been charged with Over 80 MGS and Care and Control While Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 20, 2015 to answer to the charges.
