CK14038031 Impaired Driver
On December 26, 2014 at approximately 3:00 pm officers responded to a call on – Dufferin Ave Wallaceburg, regarding a vehicle striking a curb and almost hitting another vehicle head on. Officers located that vehicle and stopped it a short time later on Bruinsma. During the stop it was obvious to the officer that the Driver of the motor vehicle had been consuming alcohol and was showing signs of impairment. A 62 year old Port Lambton man was arrested for Impaired driving. His vehicle was seized and towed. He remains in custody and will be released when he sobers up with a future court date. There were no injuries as a result of the near collision.
CK14038073 – Impaired Driver
On December 27, 2014 at approximately 3:07 a.m. at McNaughton ave at Keil Drive in Chatham officers responded to a motor vehicle collision. During the investigation it became clear to the officers that the driver had been consuming alcohol. A 22 year old Chatham man was arrested and charged with Impaired driving. He was later released with a future court date. His vehicle was seized and towed. Damage as a result of the collision was approx.. 500.00, no injuries.
CK14038026 Break and Enter
On December 26, 2014 at approx. 2:30 p.m. officers responded to an address on Priscilla St in Thamesville. The property owner advised the officer that sometime in the last day someone broke into the garage and removed several items including food from a freezer he had in his garage.
