In the early morning hours of December 28, 2014 patrol officers in the City of Kitchener observed a Ford Escape SUV travelling through a residential area at a high rate of speed. Officers were successful in stopping the motor vehicle and learned that it had been reported stolen to OPP Perth County on December 26, 2014.
A 27 year old Kitchener male and a 31 year old Listowel male were arrested for Theft and Possession of a Motor vehicle. The Kitchener male was held for a Bail Hearing and the Listowel male was released on a Promise to Appear. The motor vehicle was returned to the rightful elderly owner.
