(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a Break and Enter at an Old Highway 24, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
Between Friday, December 26, 2014 and Sunday, December 28, 2014, unknown suspects attended the address and gained entry into an outbuilding located at the rear of the property. Once inside, suspects removed a large quantity of power and hand tools.
A suspicious brown coloured GMC Jimmy was observed to be parked in the laneway of the residence by a neighbour and police are reminding all residents to report suspicious activity.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
Residents are being urged to contact police if they see suspicious persons or vehicles, and try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.
