(Picton, ON) – On December 20, 2014 at approximately 12:50 am, officers of the Prince Edward County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle crash on County Road 12.
The silver Nissan 350Z, 2 door rolled and collided with a tree. The passenger, 30-year-old Ryan Hennessy of Picton died as a result of injuries. The driver, a 27-year-old Picton man, is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting in the ongoing investigation. If anyone observed this vehicle anytime between midnight and the time of the crash or noticed any other suspicious activity on or near County Road 12, they are asked to contact the OPP at 613-476 2151.
