(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 41 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at an Indian Line Road, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, January 1, 2014, at approximately 2:48 a.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Indian Line Road and Townline Road West, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 41 year old Gary Edward SMOKE of Six Nations of the Grand River First Nations, with driving over the legal limit.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
