(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 32 year old woman for an impaired driving offence following a report of a possible impaired driver on Highway 671, north of Kenora.
On Friday January 2, 2015 shortly before 10:30 pm, police located a vehicle partially in the ditch on Highway 671. Police determined the female driver had been consuming alcohol. She was arrested and transported for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, Verna KENT of Kenora, has been charged with Refusing to Provide a Breath Sample contrary to section 254(5) of the Criminal Code of Canada. She is to appear in Kenora Court on February 5, 2015 to answer to the charge.
