Donald Miller – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) –On December 31, 2014 at approximately 8:35 p.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol in the area of Elgin Road south of Highway 401 in the Municipality of Thames Centre when an officer spotted an erratic driver travelling southbound on Elgin Road.

The officer stopped the vehicle and it was discovered the driver had been drinking. A roadside test was conducted and the driver registered a “fail”. The driver was arrested and brought to a local police detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, the driver, 55 year old Donald Miller of Springfield, ON was charged with Over 80 and Impaired Driving. He was further charged under the Liquor Licence Act for Drive a Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available.

The accused is scheduled to appear in a London Courtroom February 5, 2015 to speak to the charges. His vehicle was impounded for seven days and his driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days.
