(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Tuesday January 6, 2015 the weather changed drastically causing the road conditions to deteriorate quickly. During the course of the day Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police investigate 16 collisions including a couple of multi vehicle crashes. Thankfully none of them resulted in any serious injuries.
Huntsville OPP would like to thank the media for their assistance during the events of the day. Keeping the public informed surely assisted in preventing more crashes throughout the area.
As the extreme cold weather is upon us today and the roads department attempting to get ahead of the pending snow squall watch in affect today Huntsville OPP would like to remind motorist to drive according to the changing road conditions.
