(CALEDON, ON) – The Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to remind residents to secure their vehicles and residences by ensuring that all entrances and doors are locked when unattended.
In the last week several residences in the south area of Caledon have been targeted and victimized. Officers have received several calls for service of vehicles being left unlocked and items being removed. Small change and small items of value were targeted in each occurrence with suspects gaining entry due to insecure doors.
The Caledon OPP would like to remind residents to lock their vehicle doors and to never leave wallets or other personal items of value in their vehicles. In the event that your vehicle is entered and items taken, please contact the OPP Communications Centre at 1-888-310-1122.
