(North Stormont) – On January 9, 2015 at approximately 12:49am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Sabourin Street, North Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that altercations between an adult male and his girlfriend resulted in the female being assaulted and threatened. The male had left the residence prior to police arrival. Further information revealed the male was bound to several conditions stemming from a previous incident.
At approximately 10:43am, the 25-year-old man was located at the home and arrested. He is charged with;
– Assault – Spousal (2 counts)
– Utter Threats
– Fail to Comply with an Undertaking (6 counts)
– Fail to Comply with a Probation Order (2 counts)
He was held in custody, pending an appearance
