Four Pharmacies Robbed – Arrest Made

On January 12, 2015 acting on information provided by the community, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a 25 year old Cambridge male believed to be responsible for the robberies of four pharmacies in the city of Cambridge. The male was held for bail charged with 4 counts Robbery, 4 counts Disguise with Intent. Further charges are pending. Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate the robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart and are releasing the attached security camera image. In addition, police continue to investigate the possibility that the same male was involved in a robbery at the Preston Medical Pharmacy on December 24, 2014. Anyone who recognizes the individual in the image is asked to call South Division at 519 650 8500 ext. 2299 or Crime Stoppers 1 800 222 8477.

On Sunday December 14, 2014 at approx. 12:27pm a lone male entered the Shoppers Drug Mart, at 1500 King St E, Cambridge and walked to the pharmacy counter. After demanding narcotics, he fled the store with a quantity of pills. Police are investigating to determine the male’s identity. He is described as White, blue eyes, approx. 5’11
