(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding residents to be as vigilant during the daytime hours as they are when the lights go out when it comes to protecting their homes.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment was contacted on Monday, January 12, 2015 by a concerned homeowner after they discovered that unknowns entered their barn located at a Walsingham Townline Road, South Walsingham, Norfolk Count, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, December 24, 2014, unknowns attended the address and gained entry into a locked barn located on the property. Once inside, unknowns proceeded to remove a chainsaw and a container of gasoline.
The theft is valued at approximately $700 dollars.
