(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On January 12, 2015, just before 10:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to an alarm call at an address on Lakeshore Road in Rondeau Park.
Upon the officers’ arrival, they observed fresh footprints in the snow leading into a garage, then from there, onto other properties and into other outbuildings in the area. The officers searched the area and located a male on foot, who advised the officers that his vehicle had run out of gas and he was in search of fuel.
45 year old Alan CAVE, from Southgate Township, ON, has been charged with Trespassing at Night, under the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on February 13, 2015, to answer to the charge.
