Yesterday, the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section and K9 Unit executed a search warrant on Delaware Avenue in Chatham.
Officers seized approximately $166,000 of cannabis marihuana, almost $3,200.00 in Canadian currency and $500.00 in US currency. Multiple sets of electronic scales and production equipment were also seized.
A 27-year-old Chatham man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cannabis marihuana and production of cannabis resin. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
