(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On January 15, 2015, just before 8:00 a.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Edge on Highway 401 westbound near Victoria Road, for a traffic violation.
Subsequent OPP investigation revealed that the male driver’s licence and vehicle permit validation had expired. The driver was also unable to produce a valid insurance card.
As a result, the driver, 39 year old Patrick PERSICHILLI, from Lakeshore, has been charged with the following:
Driver Fail To Surrender Licence, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Drive Motor Vehicle No Validation On Plate, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Drive Motor Vehicle No Currently Validated Permit, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
Fail To Surrender Insurance Card, under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
