On Saturday night members of the Barrie Police Service Traffic Unit conducted a RIDE detail at various locations throughout the City. As a result 542 vehicles were stopped. Two drivers were arrested for driving with over 80mgs of alcohol. One driver was suspended for 90 days as a result of a warn range suspension. One probationary driver was charged with consumption while driving a vehicle. A total of 17 road side tests were performed.
