(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted on January 17, 2015 in regards to a ski instructor who had died while skiing.
Officers attended a local ski hill and initiated an investigation which eventually indicated that the 63 year old male left the groomed portion of the hill and struck a tree, resulting in his death. The male was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
Dave DAY, 63 years of age, of Brooklin, died as a result of his injuries.
