In the evening of Monday, January 19th, 2015, two robberies were reported to the London Police Service that occurred in the same geographical area.
At approximately 6:15 p.m., a 20-year-old man was approached by two males while walking along the path that runs from the end of Victoria Street towards Huron Street. Both suspects were carrying a knife and demanded that the victim turn over his property. The victim was assaulted and several items were taken from him.
At approximately 7:00 p.m., a 25-year-old man was walking in the area of Adelaide Street north of Huron Street when he was approached by two males. At least one suspect was carrying a knife as they made a demand of his property. The victim was assaulted and nothing was taken from him.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect #1 – male, white or tanned complexion, 17-22 years old, 5’7â€-5’10†(170-178 cm), wearing all dark clothing.
Suspect #2 – male white, 15-17 years old, 5’5â€-5’7†(165-170 cm), wearing all dark clothing.
Citizens are encouraged to be vigilant while walking in dark areas by being aware of your surroundings and to report any suspicious activity.
