Missing Female

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – The Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Fort Frances woman.

Linda KOZIK was last seen the afternoon of January 15, 2015 leaving a Kings Highway residence in Fort Frances, Ontario. She is described as a 58-year-old female, white, with shoulder length dark hair, approximately 5’5”-5’7” tall, 120-135 lbs, wearing blue or black jeans, a white sweater, dark mid-calf length boots, a longer light blue winter coat with a fur collar and buttons on the front, and a black winter hat with fleece or fur on the rim.

KOZIK had stated she was going to Thunder Bay with an unknown friend but has not been heard from since.

Members of the North West Region Emergency Response Team and a K-9 unit as well as members of the Rainy River District Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) continue to investigate.
