(RENFREW, ON) In September 2014, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Professional Standards Bureau (PSB) launched an investigation into a complaint of Criminal Harassment.
Upon an investigation, on January 29, 2015, officers arrested a 37-year old Provincial Constable.
He is charged with:
Criminal Harassment (2 Counts)
Unlawfully in a Dwelling
He is a 13 year member of the OPP, posted to a detachment within East Region and is presently on leave. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Renfrew on March 25, 2015.
The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
