(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a theft of fuel at the Petro Canada Station on Television Road. A male fueled the BMW he was driving and entered the station to pay with a credit card. After the credit card was declined, the male drove away in his vehicle.
The black BMW was later stopped by Peterborough Police because of traffic complaints they had received about the same vehicle.
Kyle Fraser (age 19) of Toronto, ON is charged with theft in relation to the $39 worth of fuel he allegedly stole from the Petro Canada. The accused is due in Peterborough Provincial Court on March 05, 2015.
