(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 46 year old female after investigating a motor vehicle collision at a Burford-Delhi Townline Road, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at approximately 4:25 p.m., Norfolk County OPP, Norfolk County Fire Services and Norfolk County Paramedics were dispatched to a Burford-Delhi Townline Road and West Quarter Townline Road address for a motor vehicle collision involving a sports utility vehicle and school bus.
Through investigation it has been determined that school bus was travelling westbound on Burford-Delhi Townline Road and a white coloured sports utility vehicle was travelling southbound on West Quarter Townline Road when both vehicles collided at the intersection.
Both drivers of the vehicles and three passengers between the ages of 5 to 9 years that were on the bus did not sustain any injuries.
As a result of police investigation, 46 year old Anne-Marie DAWKINS of Brantford, Ontario was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with fail to yield right- of-way.
