(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 10, 2015 at approximately 2:46 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a R.I.D.E. Program on Jones Baseline and Eastview Road, Guelph-Eramosa Township.
A male driving a 2014 Fiat entered the program and showed signs of being impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Richard PAULIS age 34 of Guelph has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 17, 2015 to answer to the charges.
