(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON) On the 10th of March 2015, officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an incident on Blue Mountain Resort property.
The incident involved a 16 year-old female skier who had suffered life threatening injuries as a result of a skiing related incident. She was transported to an area hospital and later air lifted to a Toronto area hospital.
Police can now confirm that the victim has passed away as a result of her injuries.
