(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) –On March 9th 2015, Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a pregnant cow that had been shot on a private farm located in Northern Bruce Peninsula, ON.
The incident occurred when the owner located the pregnant cow while checking his herd of cattle. The owner contacted a veterinarian who conducted an autopsy locating and entry and exit wound on the animal. The Ministry of Natural Resources, the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula and the Ministry of Agriculture have been notified. The estimated cost to the owner is approximately $4000.00.
