(Picton, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit have charged a Picton man following a two month on-line child pornography investigation.
On March 17, 2015 police from the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, OPP Technical Crime Unit and the Prince Edward County OPP executed a search warrant at a Picton residence. As a result of this investigation, two computer devices were seized. These computers seized contained images of child sexual abuse.
Brett LAVIGNE, age 28 years, of Picton Ontario is charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography, three counts of Accessing Child Pornography and two counts of Making Child Pornography Available.
The accused was released with conditions following a bail hearing yesterday. He is scheduled to appear on April 15, 2015 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton Ontario.
The investigation is continuing.
