(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 22, 2015 at approximately 7:45 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspicious male at a residence located on Fergus Street South in Mount Forest, Wellington North Township.
Investigation revealed a male suspect attended the victim’s residence and was banging on the windows and doors demanding to be let in. The victim refused to let him in and he left but returned a short time later and entered the residence. The suspect threatened the victim with a knife prior to leaving a second time and the police were called.
The suspect returned a third time when police were present and he was placed under arrest.
The suspect and the victim were known to each other.
Levi LARTER age 24 of Wellington North Township has been charged with Break and Enter Dwelling House and Assault with a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada as well as Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Bail Court to answer to his charges.
