77 Year Old Charged After Bullets Hit Cottage

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A local male faces a firearm related offence after an incident in which a cottage was struck with two bullets.

On March 27, 2015 the OPP became aware of a situation in which a male party accidentally struck a nearby cottage with two bullets. No one was home at the time of the incident. As a result of the investigation Robert TAYLOR, 77 years of age, of Laxton Township, was charged with careless use of a firearm, contrary to the Criminal Code.

The police seized numerous firearms and ammunition from the accused party.

The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on April 23, 2015.
