ATV Stolen

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment received a report of a stolen vehicle from a Norfolk County Road 45, North Walsingham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Sunday, March 29, 2015 at approximately 10:03 a.m., unknowns attended Deer Creek Conservation and proceeded to remove an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and loading ramps from the back of a pick-up truck that was parked at the entrance gate.

The ATV is described as a 2013 Yamaha Grizzly and has a real tree camouflage paint pattern.

The theft is valued at approximately $14,500 dollars.

The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.

Police are reminding all Norfolk County residents to report suspicious behaviour. If you see suspicious persons or vehicles, try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.

Then don’t delay, call the police and report it. 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122 will put you in contact with the nearest O.P.P. Communications Centre to report the activity. OPP (677) on your cellular will also work.
