(Gravenhurst, ON) – Members of Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) asked for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that had been involved in a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that occurred on Industrial Drive in Gravenhurst on Thursday April 2nd, 2015 at 3:10 p.m.
Police quickly received a tip that led them to the suspect vehicle and 63 year-old Frederick Franklin of Gravenhurst has been charged with:
· Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle CC253(1)(a)
· Over 80 CC253(1)(b)
· Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle CC249(1)(a)
· Failing to Stop at the Scene of an Accident CC252
Mr. Franklin will appear in Bracebridge Criminal Court on May 5th, 2015 to answer to the charges.
