(MOOSONEE, ON) – The Moosonee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is requesting the assistance of the public for any information relating to a robbery that occurred at approximately 12:20am on April 5, 2015.
At approximately 12:20am on April 5, 2015 a lone male was walking on Wabun Road when a vehicle, described as a grey Ford F-150 FXR with dark tinted windows and a dark stripe on the lower portion of the vehicle, pulled up behind him. At this time two unknown males exited the vehicle and attacked the man without provocation. The suspects took the cell phone and headphones of the victim before re-entering their vehicle and driving off towards First Street.
As a result of this attack the victim was transported to hospital where he received medical attention for non-life threatening injuries.
