(LEAMINGTON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington was called to the 300 block of Essex County Road 18 in Leamington for a report of an assault on April 3, 2015.
Officers received information that one male from the residence had assaulted another male from the same residence and threatened him.
Jose SERRANO-AYALA, age 21 of Leamington was charged with Assault, Uttering Threats and Overcome Resistance by Attempting to Choke. He was held for a bail hearing.
The victim received minor, non-life threatening injuries in the assault.
