(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Thursday, 09 April, 2015, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Perth County OPP, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Derry Street, in Listowel.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant police seized cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, cannabis resin, and cannabis marihuana. The estimated, combined value of the seized controlled substances is $800.00
Police also seized offence related property consisting of cash and trafficking paraphernalia, with an estimated value of $18,000.00
A prohibited weapon was also seized as a result of the execution of the search warrant.
Peter VANARKEL (47) of the Municipality of North Perth, and Tracy LUNDRIGAN (40) of the Municipality of North Perth have been arrested and charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, cannabis resin, and cannabis marihuana. They were also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.
Both arrested individuals remain in custody and are to appear in Stratford Bail Court on April 10, 2015.
