(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On April 12th, 2015, at approximately 7:45pm officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the OPP were called to the boat launch on Front St in Trenton for the report of an impaired boater.
When officers arrived on scene they spoke to a male that had been operating a boat on the Trent River. After a police investigation the operator of the boat was arrested.
Curtis MANSFIELD-PEDERSON, 24, of Quinte West has been charged with the following:
Operate Vessel While Ability Impaired by Alcohol, Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Operate Vessel with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood, Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville in April.
