(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH) – At approximately 2:30am, April 12th, 2015, Officers of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar enforcement on County Road 10 in the Town of New Tecumseth.
Officers observed a northbound vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. The high speed recorded for the vehicle was 132 km/hr.
The vehicle was subsequently stopped and driver charged with “Stunt Driving” contrary to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act, the vehicle was impounded and subjects driver’s licence suspended for a period of 7 days.
An 18 year old Beeton man will appear in Court in Churchill on May 13th, 2015
