The deceased motorcyclist has been identified as Zachary Jackson age 21 of Hamilton Township. The investigation is still ongoing.
(HAMILTON TWP, ON) –At 7:42am April 15, 2015 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision between a motorcycle and an SUV on County Road 9 (Oak Ridges Dr) at McKinlay Rd.
The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are at scene assisting detachment members with the investigation.
County Road 9 remains closed to traffic between County Road 15 and County Road 18 until further notice.
Updates will be provided as information becomes available.
UPDATE: The motorcyclist has succumbed to his injuries and is deceased. The name is being withheld pending next of kin notification. All roads are now open to traffic.
