(South Stormont) – On April 1, 2015 Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into a report of assaults occurring at a residence in South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that over the month of March 2015, a youth was assaulted on several occasions by two adult males and one adult female. All accused persons are known to the victim. On April 9, 2015, OPP arrested two males and one female.
A 31-year-old male from South Stormont Township is charged with;
– Assault (3 counts)
– Compelling the Commission of Bestiality
A 29-year-old female from South Stormont Township is charged with;
– Assault
A 29-year-old male from Cornwall, Ontario is charged with;
– Assault (3 counts)
All were released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on May 28, 2015. The names and detailed addresses of those accused are not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
BREACH OF CONDITIONS
(North Glengarry) – On April 16, 2015 at approximately 12:54pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a residence on Main Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township following a report of an adult male breaching conditions imposed on him stemming from a previous incident.
Luc LEROUX (50) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (April 17, 2015).
(North Glengarry) – On April 16, 2015 at approximately 1:22pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a residence on Main Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township following a report of an adult male breaching conditions imposed on him stemming from a previous incident.
Corey HELLIKER (28) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (3 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on May 13, 2015.
MAN CHARGED WITH WEAPON OFFENCES
(North Dundas) – On April 16, 2015 at approximately 6:48pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of gunshots fired at a property on Jennings Road, North Dundas Township. Investigation revealed firearms improperly stored. No injuries resulted.
Eric VOYER (41) of North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Careless Storage of Firearm
– Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on June 15, 2015.
