Killaloe OPP Weekly Release

During the week of April 12 – April 12, 2015 there were 88 calls for service. There were seven motor vehicle collisions; four were related to wild animals.

There was one domestic dispute call for service during the week of April 12 – April 19, 2015. No charges were laid.

IMPAIRED DRIVING

(Madawaska Valley Township, ON) On Tuesday, April 14, 2015 Provincial Constable Lindsay Moore and Provincial Constable Cory Briscoe conducted a motor vehicle stop on Siberia Road, Madawaska Valley Township. Kenneth DUGAN, 38 years of age of Madawaska Valley Township has been charged with

– Impaired Driving contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Over 80mg contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Drive Disqualified (four counts) contrary to section 259(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Drive while under suspension contrary to section 53 of the Highway Traffic Act.

DUGAN was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in Pembroke Court on Friday, April 24, 2015.

OVER 80MG

(Killaloe, Hagarty, Richards Township, ON) On Friday, April 17, 2015 Provincial Constable Andrew Wierzbicki responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on

Highway 60, Killaloe, Hagarty Richards Township. Lawrence MILLS, 54 years of age of Port McNicoll, Ontario is charged with

– Over 80mg contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

MILLS is scheduled to appear in Killaloe Court on June 3, 2015.

MISCHIEF

(Bonnechere Valley Township, ON) Provincial Constable James O’Dell is investigating a mischief to Centennial Park in Eganville. On Thursday April 16, 2015 unknown person(s) damaged three park benches as well as starting numerous fires around the park.

MALE CHARGED WITH POINTING A FIREARM

(Pikwakanagan, ON) On Monday, April 13, 2015 Officers of the Killaloe OPP detachment responded to Chibekana Inamo at approximately 6:00pm. As a result of their investigation Dayton AIRD, 48 years of age of Pikwakanagan was charged with

– Pointing a Firearm, contrary to Section 87 of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Utter Threats contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Utter Threats contrary to section 264.1(1)(c) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

– Use Firearm while committing an Indictable Offence contrary to section 85(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AIRD is scheduled for Killaloe court on May 6, 2015.
