(SOUTHGATE TWP, ON) – On April 18, 2015 at 9:11 a.m., the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report that a Grey Ford Taurus struck a parked vehicle on Toronto Street South in Markdale. Officers found the suspect vehicle on Southgate Road 24 and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Twenty-one year old Zackery AYERHART of Durham has been charged with operate over 80 milligrams, drive with liquor readily available, novice driver with blood alcohol over zero and fail to surrender licence. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 7, 2015 to answer to the charges. There were no injuries reported.
