Vehicle Entered Overnight

(Madoc Twp, ON) – Sometime overnight on April 18, 2015 between 12:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. an unlocked vehicle was entered while parked on Duncan Street in the Village of Madoc. Some loose change, a cell phone and a garage door opener was stolen.

In addition it was reported that just after midnight on the same date four male teenagers were observed attempting to gain entry into a vehicle on St. Lawrence Street West however they were scared off by a car alarm.

•Keep your vehicle clean and empty. Take all valuables, such as purses, computers and cell phones with you. Even small items such as loose change can be desirable so remove it or store it is in a closed compartment.

•Park your vehicle in well-lit areas. If you have a garage, use it and lock the door.
