Copper Wire Stolen

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On April 22, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted in regards to a break, enter and theft that occurred at the Hydro One distribution station on Portage Road.

Upon arrival on scene the officer noted that entry was gained by cutting through the perimeter fencing. Approximately $7 500 in copper was stolen from this location. The OPP’s Forensic Identification Services attend the scene to assist with the investigation.
