(INGERSOLL, ON) – On April 24, 2015, at approximately 7:10 a.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a weapons call at a local business on Samnah Crescent in Ingersoll.
OPP members responded and located a male driver with a loaded firearm in the front seat of his vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, 22 year old Andrew AVEY of Putnam has been charged under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act with the following:
Unlawfully have loaded firearm in conveyance
Resident hunt – wildlife without licence
OPP would like to remind individuals to always follow proper procedures as per the Canadian Firearm Legislation.
