Vandalism Caught on Camera on the Havelock Jamboree Grounds

(Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have investigated numerous acts of vandalism on the site of the Havelock Jamboree over the last few months. On Sunday just after 1:00pm, staff members apprehended 5 youths that had been seen on camera damaging property.

As a result of the investigation, five youths from the Havelock area will be instructed to participate in the Extrajudicial Measures program of face criminal charges in connection with the mischief to the Jamboree grounds.
