(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On Saturday, May 2nd, 2015, between 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Clearview Community Policing Committee are hosting a Community Bicycle Rodeo at the Presbyterian Church on Hwy #26 in the Town of Stayner. The Huronia West OPP and Clearview Community Policing Committee are happy to partner with other community groups to offer this free bicycle safety clinic. The Bike Rodeo is geared toward youth between the ages of 4 and 12. Children will ride a course designed to re-enforce the rules of the road. Bicycles and safety equipment will also be checked for compliance and the safety of the rider. There is no cost for this event.
Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. Start the busy summer season off by knowing your child and the bicycle they ride is safe. Don’t forget to bring your bicycle helmet!
