(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar patrol on Highway 115 just after 1:00am this morning. Officers clocked a vehicle at 199km/h in the posted 100km/h zone.
Jagger Dean PINEY (age 18) of Orono, ON is charged with Stunt Driving in relation to excessive speed and his driver’s licence was suspended for seven days. The 2000 Audi TT, driven by the accused, was impounded and towed from the highway. The accused is scheduled to make an appearance in Peterborough Provincial Court on June 8, 2015.
