(Prince Edward County, ON)— On April 30, 2015 at 8:31am the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward detachment received a traffic complaint. Police quickly intercepted the suspect on Mill St., Bloomfield. The driver appeared to have been consuming alcohol.
The male driver, 65-year old Phillip MARACLE of Tyendinaga Territory is charged with Operating While Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and Operation with Over 80mgs of Alcohol contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on May 13, 2015.
