(Town of New Tecumseth, ON)- On the 4th of May 2015 at 7:53 a.m. officers from the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a male driver found slumped in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle with his foot on the gas pedal on Victoria Street in the Town of New Tecumseth (Alliston).
Officers attended the location and located the male driver to be impaired by alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for Impaired Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle.
Charged is, 51-year old male Derek HAZELWOOD of Adjala-Tosorontio Township and is scheduled to appear in court on the 12th of June 2015 in answer to his charge.
