(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Saturday, May 2, 2015 at approximately 3:08 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a structure fire on Hwy. 26 between Grey Rd. 12 and the 7th Line in the Municipality of Meaford.
The structure, described as an older two storey brick house, was vacant at the time of the incident. Investigation revealed that the residence had been recently inspected by the Municipality and the Meaford Fire Department due to electrical concerns.
There were no injuries report.
The Meaford Fire Department and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office (OFM) continue to investigate.
